Happy Birthday Avery!

These were delicious. If I do say so myself.
She's so goofy. She claims to have forgotten how to smile.

A lovely up-do for a Princess on her special day.

Trying to be nonchalant and pretend she's not crazy excited.

The exact bike she wanted!

Tearin' up the sidewalk. With the help of her favorite Daddy!

Cupcakes

I've really been into making cupcakes lately. I still love making and decorating cakes, but cakes in miniature are just as fun. ☺

The blue ones were for a baby shower for my sister in law, Sheena. Please don't mind the smooshed one in the front. The adorable toppers were made by my friend, Rebecca. I love them!

The pink one is from Avery's birthday. No toppers on those. I originally planned to make a cake in the shape of a flower for her. It didn't quite turn out the way I wanted and ended up looking like a butt. This happened the day of the party. My quick, last minute and desperate solution was cupcakes with frosting piped on in a "flower" pattern. I liked them much better then the butt.

I made some for Peyton's birthday too that were topped with toppers made by Rebecca. Somehow, I didn't end up with a picture of one of them. I have no idea how that happened. I'm really annoyed about it.

Annoyed

Happy 233rd Birthday America!

Watching an amazing home fireworks display.

Father's Day 2009

My husband Ryan with his 4 clones. None of the kids would cooperate and give me a "nice" picture. By that I mean, hold still for longer than 3 seconds, not make goofy faces or poses, look directly at me, or even really try to smile. They get that punkish attitude from their dad. I don't care. This is so them of all of them. Including their dad.

Rachel's wedding cake

I made this cake for my sister in law Rachel's wedding. Not a very good shot of it. Looking at this picture kind of makes me laugh too. I knew I went a little crazy with the flowers, I just didn't realize how crazy. They're bigger than the cake. Oh well. The cake didn't need to feed very many people. Therefore, the small size and the flowers were so pretty I couldn't not put all of them on it.

The cake I hated

I can't even say all the reasons why this cake made me so mad. Nothing went my way. It's okay, but could have been much better.
